EXP 1: HERO and DETAIL SHOTS

Detail Shot:

The sleek geometric form of the building is a public statement that represents the thrill and care that our client's offer through their work. The hero shot reveals how the abnormally shaped glazing offers each internal space a unique framing of the outside environment. The facade's diverse range of materials, from rusty metal to coloured brick, highlight the different forms the structure emulates.
Thus, the interlocking nature of the structure is visible, conveying it's role in delegating different spaces of work.

More specifically, the detail shot establishes this idea of interconnectedness in a metaphorical sense, as each level of the structure is visible through a central cavity. Hence, a relationship between our clients (Off White and AutoFabrica) can be formed as they are always in view of each other through travel. This experience is enhanced when climbing the stairway as the different volumes are more apparent and striking at each level.

The basement of the site serves as a warehouse for the production of AutoFabrica's motorcycles. They are then transported through a sweeping ramp to the showroom on the ground level. The first and second levels are used as Off White's workshops and communications centres. On these levels, the inner and outer spans formed from the shape of the building's exterior allow for breakout spaces that remove staff from the working environment, embedding them in the natural (seen in the far left of the detail shot). This in turn betters the quality of life for staff.
